Can anyone there recommend a good scanner for home use?

 

I'm mainly looking at scanning documents, old photos (not slides or negatives) and maybe stuff from books/comics.

I've been using Canon scanners at home at the $80-$150.00 range with no problems. I am using a Canon CanoScan 4400F Flatbed Scanner

now. I do a lot of scanning at home for side jobs (graphic artist). At work we use higher price Epsons and Microtek scanners.
