Magister Lajciak Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 What is the best browser in terms of power and ease of use for saving and archiving websites to one's hard disc? I do a lot of archiving manually by saving the websites one-by-one as HTML or MHT in Internet Explorer 7 and it works, but takes a lot of time - I would like at least something that could save all websites open in all tabs in one click or that has other ways of speeding this up. Thanks!
CoM_Solaufein Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 There is freeware software out there that lets you download entire websites quickly. Do a search for website archive. Magister Lajciak Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 Hmm, it can even be plugged into another program that checks for updates!
CoM_Solaufein Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Some of that "freeware" is for a limited time use until you have to buy a copy. So watch what you use or make use of it before it expires. Magister Lajciak Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 Good point - I just noticed that this particular software is usable for 30 days.
