July 29, 200817 yr Just curious about the game engine being used for the Aliens RPG. We know that Gearbox is using the enhanced Unreal Engine 3 and we know its capable of some great things, but just curious if the engine being used for the Aliens RPG is "next-gen" enough? I only ask since sometimes with RPG's, their graphics engines tend to be not as advanced, although we've seen BioWare use Unreal Engine 3 for Mass Effect and it's a great looking RPG. July 29, 200817 yr The Aliens RPG is using an engine developed in-house, from scratch. We've seen some art assets we believe came from Aliens but they have since been removed from the internets. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
