I wasn't crazy about the characters in Aliens but I generally have a hard time connecting with Marine types. I find them amusing but I never really feel sorry for them or whatever. On the contrary, I actually quite liked the crew in Alien: Resurrection. Weird how things work sometimes.

I did really like Bishop though, always been a sucker for Lance Henriksen.

Alien had my favourite cast of characters though. It's also the one where I liked Ripley the best. I loved how she starts off as a really quiet character actually, and I never got the sense that she's "the main character" throughout much of the money. But she grows into that role after a while and it feels very natural.

I really liked John Hurts character and I'm always sad that he dies first. But really, I enjoy all the character in Alien and I think they compliment each other really well. Ash gets the "wtf" nomination because how utterly freaked out I got when he started showing his android tendencies. That moment in the film is really one of the best because it *totally* comes out of left field and really escalates the horror and panic. It's awesome.

Weird, exactally the word for that crew. And annoying. That's another good word for them.

The Breakdown Begins this May.
