How do I know whether I have the US or the UK version of the game?

Hi everyone! :wub:

 

Just bought the game yesterday (from ebay), but I'm kind of confused whether I have the US or the UK version,

so I don't know which patches I have to install. How can I find out which version of the game do I have?

As far as I know, as long as your game is in English, the US patch should work. Localized (Italian, German, Spanish) versions have different patches, but that shouldn't be an issue for you.

 

Edit: Also, I think that in case of a version conflict the installer will find that the version you are trying to install the patch to isn't compatible, and will abort the patching.

Well, instead of patching the game manually, I tried the auto-update function

from the CD-menu and it worked fine! It updated the game to 1.0b

i don't like the patch it crashes my game
