I just bought, KOTOR 2. Installed all the latest patchs. Now when I have the play disc in the drive KOTOR gives me an error message after I click game on the launch thingy. I have Compaq Presario F700 running Vista with a 1.8 ghz dual core AMD Athalon processor and a Nvidia GeForce Go 6100 graphics card. I updated all my drivers, changed the shortcut to run as admin, and clicked the thing to make it run under XP compatability but I still cant get the dang game to run. I've hunted around these forums and the Lucas Arts site and can't find an answer. Anyone help? I loved playing the game on the ole XBox and just want the thing to play on my new laptop!

One more thing, I did that Mss thing and still no change.

can ur pc run dual layerd discs cause that can be a problem for me
