MasterHealer
I am getting framerate issues everyonce in a while with KOTOR and TSL. I have to save exit and reload in order for it to come back to normal. My system specs are. Time of this report: 12/31/2007, 14:38:34 Machine name: PSALMS Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: System Product Name BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+, MMX, 3DNow (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz Memory: 2046MB RAM Page File: 761MB used, 2667MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 5.03.2600.2180 32bit Unicode I also have a Nvidia 8800 GTS 512. I am thinking that it is the problem that both KOTOR and TSL have with Duel Core processors. I would do the hotfix but it means I have to go into the regedit which I am VERY uncomerftable with what do you guys think. Deadly_Nightshade
Try disabling one of the cores when playing TSL (you can make it so the application only uses one, while everything else remains that same). mkg
1. Start the game. 2. You press (CTRL+ALT+DEL) which will take you back to windows and open Task manger. 3. Find swkotor.exe 4. Right Click it and select set Affinity. 5. A pop up window will appear 6. Uncheck one of the cores. This will not really disable it just does not allow access to it.
