I am getting framerate issues everyonce in a while with KOTOR and TSL. I have to save exit and reload in order for it to come back to normal. My system specs are.

I also have a Nvidia 8800 GTS 512. I am thinking that it is the problem that both KOTOR and TSL have with Duel Core processors. I would do the hotfix but it means I have to go into the regedit which I am VERY uncomerftable with what do you guys think.

Try disabling one of the cores when playing TSL (you can make it so the application only uses one, while everything else remains that same).

agreed but how do you do that? with that affinity program?

Posted

1. Start the game.

2. You press (CTRL+ALT+DEL) which will take you back to windows and open Task manger.

3. Find swkotor.exe

4. Right Click it and select set Affinity.

5. A pop up window will appear

6. Uncheck one of the cores.

This will not really disable it just does not allow access to it.
