December 31, 200718 yr Whenever I start up the game, I get this error message after the start up menu. I've tried using both disk drives and if I click the Continue option it goes into the game but crashes after the Obsidian cinematic. When it crashes, my computer starts making strange noises and the only way to do anything with it again is to restart. Yes, I am fully updated. Help?
December 31, 200718 yr I'm going to go out on a limb and say you might have a bit of a hardware problem. What kind of strange noises? Beeps? Whirs? Clicks? "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
December 31, 200718 yr Author Clicks, I'm not sure what kind of hardware problem I could have, everything else works fine on this computer.
January 1, 200818 yr Clicking is very bad if it's comming from the HD, the sound of the pickup scratching the crap out of your drive. Usually the dying sounds, lope thats not the case. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
January 1, 200818 yr A google search suggests it's unlikely to be a Kotor 2-related problem, more likely to be related some other software you installed (or that installed itself) recently. Possible solutions here and here. Give it a try, and let us know if any of them work. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)

I'll try that out and get back to you Edit: Seems to have worked, Kotor 2 is now running fine - a thousand thanks for your help everyone Edited January 1, 200818 yr by war_lemon
