Windows - No Disk error

Whenever I start up the game, I get this error message after the start up menu. I've tried using both disk drives and if I click the Continue option it goes into the game but crashes after the Obsidian cinematic. When it crashes, my computer starts making strange noises and the only way to do anything with it again is to restart.

Yes, I am fully updated.

Help? :ermm:

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you might have a bit of a hardware problem. What kind of strange noises? Beeps? Whirs? Clicks?

A google search suggests it's unlikely to be a Kotor 2-related problem, more likely to be related some other software you installed (or that installed itself) recently. Possible solutions here and here. Give it a try, and let us know if any of them work. :brows:

Thanks! I'll try that out and get back to you >_<

Edit: Seems to have worked, Kotor 2 is now running fine - a thousand thanks for your help everyone
