August 24, 200718 yr This morning avg recognizes a "virus", wininet.dll. After i let avg solve the problem my system becomes unstable: explorer.exe stops working. Luckily i can still start firefox with the taskmanager so i go to www.dll-files.com and replace the file. On restart explorer.exe keeps restarting every 3 seconds, damn. So I dig up my windows cd to replace the file with the one on the disk, now windows refuses to replace the file claiming it's in use. Anyone has any suggestions how i could solve this problem? qwb,

August 31, 200718 yr Yeah, the file is busy, correct? You need to get into a command line ... alternatively a good Antivirus / Anti-spyware application should be able to complete the task, too. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
