WITHTEETH
Thats sounds like the time their new Bearlake Chipset comes out. Those will be Penryn compatible, the die size will shrink in the cpu's from 65nm to 45nm, which uses less mower and a performance gain. the 965p's and other motherboards MIGHT be compatible down the road too, but that is unclear. Intel is also suppose to release more CPU'S that will have the 1333 FSB, they will be dubbed like so- E6650 E6750 ect... just the added 5 to account the performance gain of the FSB. The 965P's and other motherboards weren't suppose to support them(EDIT: 1333 FSB 65nm processors), but many manufacturers changed their minds to add support. Mine does, and so does the one I listed for you. Will it support penryn's 45nm??? That can't be answered until time reveals it. So that is probably why intel might have a price cut, because of their new processor line coming out. Either that or AMD might be going for a hail marry, but i doubt that.
