metadigital Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 That's a brilliant method for poison, too ... there are some leaves in the jungle, I've heard, that are broad and look very useful for toilet purposes, but that are actually very toxic. metadigital Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Nettles are actually quite edible (British seasonal crazies notwithstanding); they just need to be cooked, first. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT

Tale Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Nettles are actually quite edible (British seasonal crazies notwithstanding); they just need to be cooked, first. So? I was once so hungry I ate a whole packet of toothpicks. Hopefully you cooked those, too. They seem like they'd be edible if boiled like spaghetti to soften them up. "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

metadigital Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 Yes, spearmint makes all the difference. A man can go from here 'til doomsday if he has enough spices. OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
Walsingham Posted April 16, 2007 Author Posted April 16, 2007 I didn't mean to suggest that the flavouring made them edible. I wouldn't, for example, eat a pimento flavoured pool-cue. Biltong flavouring, though... "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe.
