New NWN2 Adam Miller Interview

We have a great new interview with custom content guru Adam Miller aka PipBoy3000 about Pirates, ship-to-ship combat and his latest module in development called Dark Waters. It is located under Articles -> Community Interviews; here is a snip:

 

Can you give us an over view of the story of this module and your goals as to the length of playing time you are shooting for?

 

The first module introduces the game world and the main characters. One of the challenges of going with a non-standard setting is that it's totally new to the players. In a sense, it's like System Shock, where the player discovers what happened and their place in the world as they go from level to level. There's a lot of interplay between the past and the present and even cases where events played out in the past can affect the current adventure.

 

Total play time is around 5 hours. I finally did several full walkthroughs and came up with that estimate. The absolute fastest, skipping the prologue, using every possible shortcut, and zipping through every dialog, the game can be finished in two hours. For people who want to explore and complete every option, it can easily be six or more hours.

How is developing of Planescape Purgatorio Module going on btw? :down:

How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them.
