How do I make Handmaiden (or other characters) jedi

At what point can I start training Handmaiden as Jedi? I got to a point in conversation where she mentioned being interested (or had to think about it) or something like that, but when I go to level up screen, she is still leveling up as a soldier.

You get a dialouge where you can turn Atton and Maiden Jedi once you have enough influence.

The same goes for Bao-Dur, Mira and Diciple. Oh, and regarding handmaiden, you have to gain enough influence before you practice fighting with her the third time. After the third lesson, you can get the dialog which turns her into a jedi, if you have enough influence
