There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated. I have to use the front bay that came with my sound card, and that mounts in a cd drive bay and connect to the sound card via IDE cable. Since all i want is the headphone jack, im not going to be willing to pay the extra for the WHOLE front panel, which costs an extra hundred. On my audigy card there is a white ten pin male connector, I found a connector online after searching for awhile. I'll tell you if it works! With all the features that Creative gives with their sound cards, why don't they add that simple connector on to it? the front panel connectors on cases have been on for years now. Those cold cathodes are so bright, that they kill any impact that led fan should have, in terms of lighting. I'm thinking of switching to blue leds. Does it take anything special to install it? I probably shouldn't get one at all really. I only have 1 5.25 drive bay left, and thats where i tuck all of my extra wires. Bokishi Posted March 27, 2007 Author Share Posted March 27, 2007 The CrystalFontz panel I'm using takes up two drive bays, but they also make a single drive bay version. also there is no need to worry about room to hide the wires because the panel is flat like an unused drive bay cover. Fixed my buzzing problem. and hopefully i get a FPS boost too! EDIT: It took me since november to get all my pieces in order because of drawbacks. I was reading up on the Antec Nine Hundred recently and hearing about some of the problems with routing wires, namely you need to cut holes in the back plate to hide the wires back there. Before reading about that I had never really thought about where people put the wires. Maybe Ill add a physics card if or when they become popular. I did read in the news today that AMD/ATI will be adding a high quality sound proccessor to their graphic card that will be Vista compatible and also will support HDMI. I hate HDMI.... C'mon, Bok, label your picture! :D Meta dude, they're GTX's not the slower GTS's And my physx card got squeezed out, no more room I have to wait and get the X-fi 2 which will probably be PCI-E 1x based, and then maybe physx card can go back in WITHTEETH: onboard sound on a GPU sounds whack; why not stick the whole pc on one card then?? Its suppose to have an analog out so you can record anything legally and easily. Well its at least legal for them to make it... Razer Barracuda just made a Audio card too that is suppose to kick butt, i don't know if it really does but it has a EMI shield on it, which would fix my problem i get when i wear my headphones, unless i could make my own EMI shield.
