alanschu Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Did you enjoy the ceremonies celebrating the fact you haven't won the cup in 40 years?
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) Hey, Oilers! This is the guy you need to stop if you're going to play the Leafs! Only if you are playing on Saturday! The announcers on CBC were saying that something like 60% of his points have been scored on Saturdays. EDIT: Oilers trade Bergeron to Islanders Edited February 18, 2007 by Deraldin
Volourn Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) "They are 5-2-3 in their last ten." Yeah, but before the Rangers, they had Forsberg in the lineup! The win vs the Rangers was their first victory without Forsberg the entire season. "This is the guy you need to stop if you're going to play the Leafs!" I remember earlier in the season when he, and the team were struggling. Leaf fans were trashing him, and saying he wa stoo old, and that the leafs should throw him the trash. People are so fickle. Kor Qel Droma Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 EDIT: Oilers trade Bergeron to Islanders Ahhh, Bergeron. I wish you best of luck on the Island. Maybe you and Tom Poti can share some stories about being Edmonton's whipping boy over lunch. I'll always remember MAB and his huge check on that Dallas guy, Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 I'll always remember MAB and his huge check on that Dallas guy Huge check on that Dallas guy? Only one huge check on some Dallas guy that I can recall and that was a few years ago during the first round of the playoffs.
Deraldin Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Huge Hip Check on Brendan Morrow. Sounds about right. Sent him flying as I recall.

Deraldin Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 (edited) Dang. Halak didn't get the shutout. Held them scoreless for 48 minutes and then let in two goals in three minutes, but held on for the win. Congrats to Koivu for scoring a goal again. Rookie Jaroslav Halak was vying to become the fourth Montreal goalie to register a shutout in his first NHL start until Columbus scored twice in a 3:03 span late in the third period on goals by Nikolai Zherdev and Gilbert Brule. alanschu Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I have heard rumours that Huet is out for the season.
Deraldin Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I have heard rumours that Huet is out for the season. Well he's out supposed to be sidelined indefinitely and was scheduled for surgery so I wouldn't be surprised you're right.
Kor Qel Droma Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I haven't seen any updates on Philly's Mike Knuble yet. From what I understood his orbital bone got shattered when he collided with Shanny. Ah well, he wasn't doing much in my pool anyway. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I haven't seen any updates on Philly's Mike Knuble yet. From what I understood his orbital bone got shattered when he collided with Shanny. Ah well, he wasn't doing much in my pool anyway. Winger Mike Knuble still can't have surgery to repair a broken orbital bone and a broken cheek bone because there is too much swelling. He may be done for the season. - Philadelphia Daily News/Philadelphia Inquirer
Kor Qel Droma Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 Well, let's hope he can make it back in time for the Flyers playoff run. Go Go Tom Gilbert!! Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Kor Qel Droma Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 C'mon, even Volo could see the sarcasm in that. Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
Deraldin Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 C'mon, even Volo could see the sarcasm in that. It just seemed so blatantly obvious that it couldn't possibly be real internet sarcasm. And there was no [/sarcasm] tag.
mkreku Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 What the hell goes on at the Washington Capitals practice sessions..? "Semin gets a plus for incredible accuracy, even when they're just messing around. With Ovechkin hiding behind the net at the other end of the ice, Semin feathered the puck the length of the ice, off the glass and nailed Oveckin in the butt." http://www.tsn.ca/tsn_talent/columnists/gino_reda/ Hahaha! Deraldin Posted February 20, 2007 Posted February 20, 2007 I have heard rumours that Huet is out for the season. Looks like it's been confirmed that Huet is out for the season. Huet gone, hopes for playoff return.
Kor Qel Droma Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 (edited) Well, in a few moments we get a look at how our Bergeron less defence will look. I hope Tom Gilbert has a huge game tonight. Go Oilers!! edit: Oiler fans in Ottawa booing Comrie. LOL!!! Edited February 21, 2007 by Kor Qel Droma Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

Go Oilers!! edit: Oiler fans in Ottawa booing Comrie. LOL!!! I got the outcome I was looking for! Overtime win for the Sens! Apparently Gilbert was the one who tied it up in the last minute of the third to send it to overtime. He got you guys a point. And of course it just seems right that ex-oilers Comrie and McAmmond both score in the shootout. And Montreal now has 16 shorthanded goals this season.
Kor Qel Droma Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 (edited) That's Sykora's 33rd career two goal game with no hat trick. Will it ever happen? Edited February 21, 2007 by Kor Qel Droma Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.
mkreku Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Win the shots 44 to 21. Lose the game 0 to 3. Horrible. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
