Mortis Nai Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 (edited) If you have a PSP, then you probably know that you need 1.50 Firmware to get any real use out of it, and if you are using 1.50 Firmware you have to go through all sorts of trouble with Dev Hook in order to play New Games, and even then some of the features that you would like to use for the PSP are extremely buggy when running in Dev hook. It seemed that PSP gamers were had to make the choice between a Fully Functioning, all features live, no complications, no frills PSP, or a Modded to hell unstable and somewhat finickety PSP. Well those days are over. 3.02 OE-A has just been released by Dark Alex, It has all the usability of the 3.02 Firmware Including the Ability to run Playstation 1 Games on your PSP, and it also lets you run the 1.50 Kernel for all your Home brew Applications, and as if all this was not enough... DevHook works on it as well for added usability and Compatibility. Not 24 Hours after its release, Chaos Zero had a wonderful N00b friendly Installer up and running. To learn more. Check out the PSP-Hacks.com Forums and Chaos Zero's guide. Happy X-mas Gaming! Sony has graced us with the PSX Emulator, and some PSX Titles. Now all we need to do is work out how to encode PSX Games to run correctly on the PSP and then I will finally be able to play FFVII, Bushido Blade 2, Silent Hill & Parasite Eve wherever and when ever I wish to :D Edited December 23, 2006 by Mortis Nai How to Win and Informal Debate How to Defuse an argument
