Why_oh_why
A scenario for NWN2 online play I would love to see is. A fully fledged world where we take whatever side we so choose, surface/underdark/good/evil etc etc. However, as in the single player game you get to own a stronghold. Players of whatever race could band together, gain or build a castle/city/stronghold or whatever, and forge a mighty kingdom out of it. Then we could mount raids or attacks on adversaries(other players) lands, all in realtime online. To the victor the spoils of war. If we defeat enemies on the field of battle, we get to loot all their goodies they had with them. Maybe even take possesion of their lands/kingdom. Imagine the awesome battles that would ensue. Of course, there is no support for this in MMORPG, and NWN is mostly PW unfortunately. So having it as a worldwide online world is probably out of the question. What do you think? Feel free to add to this idea if you like the sound of it.
Deadly_Nightshade
I would be temped to join a server like that, although you would have to get some awesome modding talent before making your dream into a reality... Hurlshort
Yeah, the DM and Modding would need to be pretty active. It would have to be either a very small group of actual players, or a pretty big building team. Interesting idea. There are a few servers that allow you to build stuff, but you usually need to have a good relationship with the admin team. In ALFA, I was constantly trying to save money to build a temple of Tempus, but my Cleric died before it came to pass.
