Sand
I hate SecuROM. It does nothing to prevent piracy and everything against legitimate users. Murphy's Law of Computer Gaming: The listed minimum specifications written on the box by the publisher are not the minimum specifications of the game set by the developer. @\NightandtheShape/@ - "Because you're a bizzare strange deranged human?" deganawida
Dude, all that stuff is easily removed. SecuROM is nothing like StarForce.
Sand
Both are lame and should not be used. deganawida
Both are lame and should not be used. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll not debate you on the merits of publishers using CP software. I just wanted to point out that the SecuROM stuff does nothing intrusive or damaging to the PC. This alert seems more inflammatory than helpful. Sand
Obsidian and Atari just needs to find an alternative tot he crap that is disk protection that hampers legitimate users. The thieves are not the ones being stopped from playing the game. Just because it hasn't bothered you does not mean it hasn't been a major pain in the ass for others.
