I'd love an rpg in a norse setting.

Or make it an RTS where you can go out and conquer the known world.

Otherwise known as the Medieval: Total War expansion known as Viking INvasion?

I'm afraid my knowledge of RTS's isn't that great.

Wha? Blizzard's "chest" games (Diablo 2 and Starcraft) are still available pretty much anywhere here in the US. Pretty cheap too.

Yup, it was in stock at Wal-Mart last time I was looking around.

I was in EB today and they had several copies of the Starcraft Battlechest on the shelf for around $20. :ph34r:

I remember seeing Battlechest somewhere nearby but I forgot where. Plus it was over a year and a half ago.

Just scope out Walmart or EB/Gamestop

Walmart usually has it at a low, low price.

I've still seen that Battlechest at almost every computer store.

 

I think the game itself is still a decent seller, for a game that's like 8 years old.

EB won't have it, they have too much console junk cluttering their shelves. What pc games they do have are new. Walmart is so second rate. But if I must visit it......

Check anyway. My local EB only has one shelf for PC games and they still have the battle chest on the shelf.

Then you're unlucky. Both the EB Games I have visited in the past month have had the Starcraft battlechest. Try here by punching in your zip code to see if any local stores have it.

 

 

As for Walmart being second rate, who gives a ****. If it has they game you're looking for, then go buy it.

EB used to be good with old games but, they need to fill their shelves with the newer console games. We only have one EB in my area.

 

CompUSA might have it.

I'm just saying that my EB Games, which has been sufficiently consolized, still stocks it.

 

So does the local Future Shop (which I think is just Canadian).

 

It's really not that hard to find if you just go out and look for it. I can't imagine it just being stocked in Edmonton Canada.

Look what is now in my game folder. I walked up to my nearest Best Buy to get the BSG DVD and look what they had, Starcraft Battle Chest. I knew I saw it somewhere.

I wouldn't have picked you to be the type to have FEAR.

It's my boyfriends. I haven't played it yet. Same goes with the Half Life games, they're his.
