When i try to play KOTOR 2 on my laptop the movies play but then screen remains black... i cant play the game!

 

Is this issue fixed in the patches?

I had the same problem too, but since I patched it with versoin 2.0.0.0 it's no longer a problem. But ir could also be beacuase I cracked the game (just because I lose the cd's, it's all legit :()

Ok i updated it and problem remains... my video card is ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 128 MB... anyone please help!

My game is original... not a copy and not with any no-cd patch or somesuch!!!

Some ATI cards have catlyst problems w/Kotor. Did you update those?

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

For some reason i'm unable to update from the old compal drivers to the the catalyst ones.... sais it can find frameworks.net but i do have frameworks.net

I play super games in this computer no problem, like Star Wars Galaxies and Wow. Kotor 2 first problem with a game in 2 years! :(

:) I changed drivers to Omega Drivers... even worst... movies load up in small "boxes" and theres a counter on top right courner!!!!!

 

My question is this: WHEN, OH WHEN will computer game software houses look upon laptops as COMPUTERS ASWELL? When will the stigmata against portable computers by the software houses END????

 

We have laptops on the marquet more powerfull then certain desktops, you know!!!!!!
