Sith have factions, as mentioned by Visas. Some factions are allied together, against some others. Besides, in K1, DS Revan and Bastila together are Sith force users in a way, except never knew how Bastila's complexion was unaffected at all by DS alignment. And Malak was also a Sith, yet Revan had to battle him.

I thought I was the only one to notice bastilla looks the same dark and light. In K1 at least.

She isn't very appealing in the T3 recording

...But what I meant was since your PC is on the darkside title screen

you could interpret that to mean you are a sith. I personally would not alley my Exile to the sith for the above reason.
