Ive just got Kotor 2 for the pc and it says that is an incorrect version of the game have i been swindled?

Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Incorrect version on what basis? Have you tried downloading patch for game from LA website?
