chunk_norris Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 Need some help here. Had Kotor 2 loaded before and wished to play again. Upon reinstall and updating I have noticed an issue during ingame cut scene animations, namly with holo playbacks. Check out the eye model render with the giant texture. You should see driod models..eeesh. Any ideas. Same occurs in 1.0 and 1.0b. Tried latest drivers from nvidia and the beta drivers....still the same. Attached is pic and config specs. Thanks in advance. swinfo.txt
lightsidedmarker Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 maybe its just a bug in the game... sometimes atton will be talking to me and it will be coming out of the handmaindens body (happened once so far), and sometimes when I'm near a security door and i switch characters really fast someone manages to end up on the otehrside of the door.

Pa3PyX Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 Might still be driver bugs; if upgrading the drivers does not help, maybe downgrading will (newer is not always better). But first, you can try disabling Z buffer compressions, filtering optimizations, occlusion testing (polygon rejection), and other stuff like that; this will slow performance, but will probably eliminate the draw order bugs. For ForceWare drivers, you accomplish this by going to the driver control panel, selecting "Performance and Quality Settings", then "Advanced" view, and dragging the "Image Settings" slider to "High Quality". Using RivaTuner, you can tweak a few other options.
