June 17, 200619 yr So how'd you like it and should I get it? I've never played Rise of Nations and I'm pretty interested in the flavour aspect of Legends. Spreading beauty with my katana.
June 17, 200619 yr Its kinda neat. But it gets old kinda fast. I started playing through the main campaign and once it gets to the part where it splits off and becomes non-linear (which is kinda cool) it loses focus and gets boring. Some neat concepts though The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
June 17, 200619 yr the game feels like most of the time was spent on the first campaign as it's the only one I've come across with more than three maps that have actual objectives rather than "kill em all!" I liked the steam punk but the games balance is a tad bit off. the Vinci are good at turtle the Alin are good at armies and the Quatl are good at just flat out pounding the other guy. Honestly this is a bargin bin. Watching ripoffs of the Jaffa try to kill a clockwork man is fun and all but it gets stale after the first campaign. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
