Graphics Problems...

Recommended Posts

I just changed my PC, and am having a few problems with KOTORII and it's graphics -

I play the game for a while, around 5 - 10 minutes quite happily but then things stop rendering and black just appears in it's place - it starts with doors, then walls and people and other items.

I have tried absolutely everything I can think of "in-game" with the graphics settings and nothing helps.

I'm using an nVidia GeForce 7800GTX graphics card (with latest drivers), and a dual core AMD64 processor.

Any ideas - I can't believe nobody else will have had this problem!

How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them.

Dual Core processor, eh...

I would say check the technical section; but it has evaporated... making me unable to help (exact sollution WAS there) other than "update drivers"...

Oh right....

if anyone can remember the exact solution....it would be more than appreciated!

[EDIT]

I read somewhere (just now) that a solution is to "set the affinity of the game to only one core" of the dual-core processor, because it doesn't work well with dual core processors...would anyone know how to do that?

[/EDIT]

Cheers in advance.

(Note: I believe I said in my original post that I already had all the most up-to-date drivers etc - the second reply said I should download them...just thought I'd make it clear).
