Stuck on Telos academy after training Haindmaiden

Whenever I finally convince Handmaiden to train as a Jedi I get teleported to the secret academy on telos. There are no NPC's, and when I go to the Ebon Hawk I can't get on board. Nothing happens, at all. This is really confusing me, and frustrating me quite a bit too. I've tried loading a past save game and doing it again, is there any way around this? (aside from not training Handmaiden).
