Atreides Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 How are the peeps at Obsidian keeping up morale during the crunch period? Or is the office filled with the wails and moaons of shuffling pale zombies chained to their desks? Spreading beauty with my katana.
Shadowstrider Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 If it is anything like here, with a thread of random, funny movies and things found on the internet. Also probably a "strange screenshots" thread with a slew of goodies. A little bit of the zombie thing, too.
Joseph Bulock Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 I'd say no more than a handful of people are ever in zombie mode. Aside from the usual funny movie clips and screenshots and such, the "higher-ups" really take great care of us. Lots of pizza, recreation, BF2 (our server is back!) and even some guitar hero set up on the big screen. Also, everyone here is awesome about pulling each other off the floor, and everyone has lots of experience here. Crunch is nothing new, and we've pretty much figured out how to cope in our own ways. The only real sign of a deadline around here is a little extra facial hair on a few people. My blood! He punched out all my blood! - Meet the Sandvich
Shadowstrider Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Yeah, we have Guitar Hero here, as well, but no one has played it in a few weeks. We have too much pizza. We do have little contests and such, plus we get pie and burger king crowns if we do something right for a change.
alanschu Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Heheh, I'm in a bit of a crunch at the moment, and my facial hair is definitely thicker than normal I liked how the EA University Liasion opened up his speech at my University: "We turn pizza and pop into video games."
Atreides Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 Guitar hero? Spreading beauty with my katana.

Atreides Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 I can't deny that some pizza right now would make me really happy. Spreading beauty with my katana.
