Force forms and lightsaber forms...

Once you select a force form or lightsaber form does it remain "in effect" until you choose a different one or does it have to be "turned on" for each battle or even each enemy?

Not all those that wander are lost...

Once you select a form, it's always on, until you select another.

 

The only time it's not "on" is if it's a lightsaber form, and you aren't wielding a lightsaber, if I recall correctly.
