I got the mission to save Talia on Onderon(LS), and I've made it up to the part where I have to shut down the force fields on the sky ramp, but only the first force field shuts down, and I cannot get past the second. I do not have Bao Dur with me, so I cannot break it. Any help? Did I miss something?

did you kill everyone in the area?

The only people standing are Talia's men, my characters, and the sith on the other side of the barrier.

force lighting the ppl on the other side, if that doesn't do it restart

Hopefully by this point you have a light saber - you should be able to use your light saber to "bash" it

The lightsaber was not working on the shield, but I decided to wait outside the shield for awhile, and after about five minutes it just came down and the sith started attacking me.

You should be able to take down the shield by making the lightsaber wielding char your active char and "bash/insert lightsaber" on the Shield...
