I couldn't stop watching

 

In 20 U.S. Open trips, Andre Agassi never had won a match after losing the first two sets

I don't care for tennis, but I always stopped to watch Agassi/Samprass matches. And being a Nebraskan, I root for Roddick as well.

I was not a big Tennis fan either. But I was a basketball fan, and they'd always have Tennis commercials on during the NBC telecasts for the major events, and I'd always see "Pete Sampras goes for another major" or something like that.

 

I had respect for Pete because he seemed very good at his sport, and winning his last U.S. Open made me happy for him after age had caught up with him and he wasn't performing as well as he had in the past.

They should rename all pro tennis tournaments to, "Who gets to be destroyed by Roger Federer in the finals?"

Federer is en fuego these days.
