I was just about to ask this very question. I only have an onboard 512 mag RAM intel graphics chip. Morrowind runs fine. Will Half Life run OK?

Half-Life is a 1999 game.

From the back of Half-Life: Generations (includes Opposing Force, Counter Strike and Blue Shift):

  • Windows 95/98/2000/Me/XP
  • Intel Pentium 233 or
    AMD K6-2 300
  • 32 Megs [sic] RAM
  • 400 MB HD [Edit: My Half-Life 2 installation is upwards of 10 GB!]
  • 2x CD-Rom Drive
  • SVGA, high colour (16 bit)
  • Win-compatible sound card
  • 32-bit Internet service provider with 28.8+ modem or LAN (for multiplayer modes)

If you can play Morrowind, you can most definately play Half Life.
