I'm leaning towards BG&E since I've heard it's great and quite short (my attention span is terrible so this is actually a plus point for me, I may actually finish it) but Anachronox seems to be held as a classic by lots of intelligent posters. Alternatively if you think I should make up my own mind feel free to tell me to **** off.

We now bring you live footage from the World Championship Staring Final.

Play Anachronox first, as it will leave a sore taste, then remedy it with BG&E.

It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai.

So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds

I don't think it matters which one you start first. They're both in different genres, they're both very good and they're both worth whatever you paid for them. What I don't understand is why you can't play them both at once? Two RPG's at once might get a bit confusing, but two games that have nothing in common..?

Anachronox. Witty dialogue, compelling characters, awful combat. The works!

BG&E was enjoyable, but 90% of the time is spent sneaking around in dungeons. Doesn't help that the stealth elements weren't exactly well-developed. The whole sequence leading up to the first battle was pretty awesome, though. Too bad things went downhill from there.
