They also make most of the components on HP servers. All get rock solid reviews. That mobo I got is likely bad, but I got a great package with the mobo. It has the biggest manual I've ever seen for a mobo, a floppy disk with RAID drivers, tons of connectors, and the most feature rich BIOS I have ever seen. There is something to be said for that. It is also a very inexpensive mobo that offers firewire, and the NForce 4 Ultra chipset which rocks all around. It is my favorite chipset aside from SLI. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's hawt. I pick up a specific expert guide (hardcopy or internet) before making a decision about anything, even if I am "expert" in the area, sometimes there is news or even regression errors revealed, and it doesn't hurt to have your thoughts double checked. Personally, I know enough to talk knowledgeably about the various componentry, but ratings and so forth I don't pretend to know.
