Diogo Ribeiro
Spotted at Gamespot: Following in the footsteps of 2003's graphical adventure game based on Jules Verne's book Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Adventure Company has announced a new game based on another of Verne's sci-fi pieces, Journey to the Center of the Moon. The premise of the game is the same as the novel: A group of brilliant scientists design and create a space capsule that will bring them to the moon. However, the game diverges from the book at the point where they actually reach the moon. Whereas in the book the group fails and is left stranded in orbit above the lunar surface, in the game version, the scientists succeed and discover a whole new world. Another adventure game when the genre was decried dead by several naysayers. Who would've thunk it. Grab the demo here.
Authority
Theyre not dead, theyve just been moved off the A-list. It sounds very nice. "Thoughtcrime is death. Thoughtcrime does not entail death. Thoughtcrime is death."
