Well, from what I've seen the women in manga/anime are either overly sexualized (huge boobs, superlong legs and no waist) or tiny girls in school uniforms. And nope, I haven't seen a lot of it, but what I've seen is quite enough, thank you very much. My girlfriend is a manga/anime freak.

Yeah, she is. Her favourite is (was?) Sailor Moon, she even has the signature melody on her cell phone. My bookcase behind me right now is brimful with her manga. She used to be very active in a Sailor Moon mailing list, and she even did one of the voices in a fan made Sailor Moon radio show. Also, she's attended a few anime conventions. I'm not too fond of it all, because she forces me to see all these weird japanese movies, like Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away (which I liked because it reminded me of Alice in Wonderland), Whisper of the Heart, Casshern and a whole lot more. But she likes hockey too so all is forgiven :rolleyes:
