July 21, 200520 yr No, I'm afraid not. Obsidian have said that the patch will contain better-quality music and movies, but nothing else. No bug fixes and no cut content. For the cut content, we're all waiting for the TSL Restoration Project to finish its work. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
July 21, 200520 yr Here's a link to the restoration project's homepage, theres also a thread about the work they are doing and any updates they have in the General Discussion forum here.
July 22, 200520 yr Hahahaha omfg, first time in three months or so that I log in here again and you guys are still waiting for that movie/music patch?? Christ...

July 22, 200520 yr Or perhaps the result of a company restructuring itself. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah... A company that with push their developing team into a Christmas release just for more money surely cares about the fans.
July 22, 200520 yr Yeah... A company that with push their developing team into a Christmas release just for more money surely cares about the fans. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To be fair to Lucasarts (wtf? GhostofAnakin being fair to LA?), you'd be hardpressed to find a company that placed "loyalty and fairness to customers" over "most revenue possible". I'm sure the person in charge of Lucasarts would lose their job if they worried more about pleasing fans than bringing in profits. July 23, 200520 yr Well, i understand a company needs to bring in profits, but wouldn't Kotor II have sold more better if they accually completely finished it before releasing it.
July 23, 200520 yr In Lucasarts' case, I don't think it was so much profits, but mere capital to stay alive.
July 31, 200520 yr Author at least i'd like an obsidian employee to say what's going on. if they're doing another patch or not
July 31, 200520 yr "I agree with the Lame Boy(from hell it seems). Christ indeed." You're trying too hard. 9/30 -- NEVER FORGET!
July 31, 200520 yr Well, i understand a company needs to bring in profits, but wouldn't Kotor II have sold more better if they accually completely finished it before releasing it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not really. The extra time it would take to "complete" the game would require LA to pay more to the developers for those extra months of work. I don't think that would be offset by any increase in sales, because as it stands most people who were going to buy the game would have already. July 31, 200520 yr "I agree with the Lame Boy(from hell it seems). Christ indeed." You're trying too hard. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That was me 9 days ago. I'm all better and far more wittier now! kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food.
