Same here. The pictures can be distracting.

 

They often don't represent what actual gameplay looks like.

With the prevalence of photoshop, they are all airbrushed and digitally altered -- unless specifically notarised.

 

Even Half-Life 2 cover had Gordon's neck being strangled by the blue tentacle of a monster that never appeared in the game (just a demo that circulated at the fateful E3 just before the September that never saw the announced release of λ

Many of the levels featured in the demo got completely redone.

Exactly how many die-hard jaded Fallout fans live in Ames, Iowa and post on these forums?
