It's just been released! Has anyone played it yet? I'm downloading it right now but its a hefty one at 600MB.

We now bring you live footage from the World Championship Staring Final.

Meh, all the servers are full ;___; ... trying to get it from the secret fat-line swedish server

First game I'm actually waiting for to release something playable.

Yeah, I got it yesterday.. Been playing it a while now. It's MUCH better than the original Battlefield 1942, but it's also much more taxing for the system (understandably). The graphics are excellent, almost giving me a Far Cry-vibe. They're using ragdoll physics now, and it looks very cool when you're being blown 50 meters up into the air by artillery fire! The maps feel more compact now, although they increase automatically in size if you choose to include more players on your server. Very neat. I haven't had a chance to toy around with the weapons much yet, but I can tell you this: being a sniper in Battlefield 2 is NOT as easy as it was in Battlefield 1942 :) You'll see..

So far it's been a very enjoyable experience and I've already had a lot of fun and memorable experiences. Great game! Unfortunately, the demo only contains one level, but at least it's a good level. I haven't been able to find the "destructible environments" yet though and the demo level doesn't contain any flying vehicles (that I have found at least). A shame.

Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
