June 8, 200520 yr the game keeps freezing to a black screen once the first cinematic is shown. I've had the game updated to the last patch, but to no avail it keeps freezing every single time.
June 9, 200520 yr er... check your system from a KOTOR 2 start up menu, save the log, and copy it here..
June 9, 200520 yr Author there it goes I've disabled movies, lets me play the game, but its so confusing (and unpleasant) to play the game without movies.... Also, watching any movie from the main menu also engineers a black screen freeze.... swinfo.txt
June 9, 200520 yr ATI X300. I think you might have this common ATI problem, although I wouldn't know much about it because I'm on a nVidia. Check Catalyst version (apparently there's one which won't work, but it's not the latest) and you have to do some "Vertex" type option in the config file.
