That they should of included the other Prestige Classes like Officer? I personally thought that Mandalore need a 2nd class so why not give him a prestigse class?

 

Also don't get me started with Mira, her starting class is a prestige class! *faints*

I see nothing wrong here. These people would not be changed in any way unless you put some work into them anyway, since most people auto level or choose simple stuff that can turn the tide of a fight but still let their own char shine.

 

Ever play BG2? The characters would be the same, so there is no need to name their class. If you look at those chars in BG they are all different and should be named a subclass or prestige class but it doesn't matter since they would remain unchanged.
