Oerwinde
you still use kazaa? the p2p client of the devil <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can't find anything on Kazaa. I switched to limewire because all I could find on Kazaa were decoy files. I use Direct Connect and Bittorrent for TV shows, Limewire for music. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.

Just a narrowcast to grab ... Only wondering because I'm interested in how the US will react to the new Russell T Davies series. If it gets a decent platform it should be huge: the writing is the ducks's nuts. Once the audience is in place, they're sure to do a game. Then we can just hope that it is good. 6 Foot Invisible Rabbit
I started to use Kazaa for the first 2 episodes but I use Bittorrent now. Is everybody plugged into a mainframe via a matrix of wireless terminals, living out virtual lives with augmented HUD info and telekinetic I/O ? Um... No. Most people use virtual keyboards and screens while a few others can jack in. Harvey

I am always wary of settings so far in the future, as it is really, really difficult to predict the society, even if you get the technology right. (It's the little things, like there was a guy who woke from a coma in the nineties that he entered in the early eighties: he was asked what surprised him the most ... remote controls. When he lost consciousness there were few remote controls anywhere, and those that were around -- e.g. on VHS tape recorders -- were attached with a wire. Remeber having to get up to change the channel on the tv?) Anyway, Arthur C. Clarke wrote a seminal work on technology called Profiles of the Future, which was very interesting and is still a good read. I don't have my copy anymore, so I don't know what slated for the latter half of this millennium, except I think we have some solar flares and build the Ark that gets invaded by the Wyrrn, and then that is used by the Cybermen to invade the Vogons after the Sontarans are defeated on Earth and the Doctor returns from setting Davros and the Daleks back a few generations. Oh, wait a moment, that's a different universe. :D OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT
