On both Nvidia and ATI gpus, I do get a rare blackscreen but it isn't really a crash because I can still quicksave, reload and all is fine. I believe this is what Obsidian is referring to in the readme. The ATI gpu + Via chipset otoh will, once through the entire game, crash with an application failure blaming swkotor.exe(KotOR 1) or swkotor2.exe(KotOR 2).
