One year and a half after the release of kotor 1, i find out that the characteristic for the melee weapon (saber....) is STRENGTH. But, it is said that dexterity is to be not hit : by sabers or blasters ?

In KOTOR I believe that sabers had finesse built in and would default the highest. In KOTOR II finesse is a feat for both melee and lightsaber.

 

Dex adds to your AC and makes you harder to hit. As long as you buy weapon finesse it will also add to your to hit as well.

I have to agree with Volourn.  Bioware is pretty much dead now.  Deals like this kills development studios.
