I want to get the girl back on Telos but I don't remember how to play. I just lost 1000 creds to the guy....

And save before you even talk to Doton Het the first time. Save before you talk to any Pazaak-er. Buy some cards from Mebla Dule in the cantina - if you've got the desire, beat her three times playing for credits in a row to get her "lucky" card from her as well.
