Need help with Redemption quest and jedi academy

Hey all! Deciding to play through again and try and hit all the quests possible. I have a problem right now with 2 on Dantooine. There is a quest called Redemption to make the people on Dantooine like Jedi again, but I can't figure out how to finish it. I searched these forums and it seems others have the same problem but no solution.

 

Also I am trying t o get into the storage room in the Ruined Jedi Enclave. I think I need to talk to Tarn to get it to open since the computer console isn't doing it, but Tarn isn't giving me any chat options about it. Is it possible to get past that door?

I just blew up the console... that did it, and as far as I know there weren't any negative effects.
