SteveThaiBinh Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 There was a patch for Non-US versions of Kotor 2 available almost as soon as the game was released here, so I never played it without the patch. Does anyone know what was fixed by this patch? I haven't had many errors or seen many bugs at all, but that may just be a lucky system configuration. Kiwegapa Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 It fixed the PDF manual which was a bad file in the European release. Some say it also fixes spelling errors in the game, but I haven't gotten a clear report on that.
adrich81 Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 No it literally just changes the manual. (There is a search feature btw).
Hawkeye Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 No it literally just changes the manual. (There is a search feature btw). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It does NOT just that. It overwrites some other files, too. I couldn't read most of the filenames fast enough when the patch was installing. But one of them was the swkotor2.exe - and after the patch my mouse cursor was invisible during the whole game except for the menu at the start. I had to uninstall the whole game and re-install it without the patch and it was fine again. I couldn't possibly have gotten that problem if all the patch contained was a PDF manual.
