I was wondering if the max dex bonus is broken...

I have Atton with a dex 18 that gives him a dex modifier +4

 

without any armor he has defense 18

I have an armor:

Defence bonus 4

Max dex bonus 5

 

with this armor he should have a defence on 26 but it only displays 21, it does not count the modifiers......

 

any other got this prob??? plz check it out

 

Yep, that's odd, should give him AC 22 (or is it Max Dex 3 (instead of the 5 you type, otherwise I don't get how you would think 26)?)

The max dex bonus is how bulky the armour is.

 

Even if you have 20 dex +5 in Mandalorian armour you still only get the base armour because it has a dex bonus of +0.

 

With no armour/robes you always get your max dex bonus.
