tanstaafl28
Ok, I admit it. Maybe I was too hasty. I REALLY loved KotOR, and TSL just didn't seem to set well with me by comparison. I'm willing to give it another chance and play through since I paid for the game...
KingofThieves
Good idea. I'm doing the same right now, and I'm going to keep playing it until I like it, dammit.
Objulen
Unfortunatly, story-based gaming has gone down hill since past years. Look at what happened to adventure games, which depended so much on story and atmosphere to make a good game. That has shifted to RPGs to a degree (PS:T would have made an excellent adventure game), but it still hasn't really made up for the slack. Just look at NWN -- it took three "games" to get one with a descent story, which didn't even really pick up until the second chapter. It's truely a pity. Kill 'em all games have their place, and RTSs are wonderful, but the most endearing quality of any game, IMO, is the story, and that hasn't been present as of late.
