Hudson Posted February 12, 2005 Posted February 12, 2005 Well as many know you have to turn sound off to get this game to run, does anyone have anyway of not turning sound off to play. Because gaming with no sound gets very very dull earlly. Please reply !!!!!!!

Kevin Lynch Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Are you sure you are actually having trouble with the sound or are you encountering things like sound stuttering/repeating, cutting out, dialogue choppy, etc? I ask because I had some sound glitches and I fixed it by turning down/off anistropic filtering in the game. The sound troubles, in other words, were a symptom of another problem. Of course, I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT 128 MB card, and that comes with all sorts of issues, depending on your driver set, apparantly.
Villain Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 I'm not having stuttering or a major problem but my EAX is screwed in this game only. It works fine in Half-Life and Battlefield Vietnam and the rest. Not a major problem, just certain sounds are muffled no matter what.
